Certication Required for NROC


About certifications required to be NROC Registered
The National Registry of Coaches (NROC) is a database of coaches who have been fully certified under the Singapore Coach Excellence (SG-Coach) Programme Standard First Aid certification and have met other supplementary requirements to qualify as a member.

These are the courses and certificates required to be in NROC(National Registry of Coaches):

- Standard First Aid with AED Certificate.

- Basic Sports Science (BSS) / NCAP Theory Certificate Holder
The Basic Sports Science (BSS) Course is an introduction to various sports science concepts which will aid participants in their pursuit of other Sport Singapore Courses.
It is mainly conducted in a classroom format where participants are guided with theoretical knowledge and practical applications for the topics of Anatomy & Injury Prevention and Strength & Conditioning.
The BSS course is a pre-requisite for Sport Singapore's Sports Trainer and Fitness Instructor courses. It is also a requirement for the Singapore Coach Excellence (SG-Coach) Programme.

- Singapore Coach Theory Level 1 (including Values & Principles in Sports)
- SRF Technical Certificate Level 1
Singapore RollerSports Federation (SRF) formed in April 1998 was previously known as the Inline Sports and Skating Association of Singapore (InSSAS).
Singapore Rollersports Federation is the national governing body of roller sports in Singapore, where roller sports refer to any and all forms of skating, except Ice-Skating.
The Federation is supported by Singapore Sports Council (SSC). This 2 days course will cover both theorical and practical components of conducting lessons from beginning to end.
An E-Certificate will be given upon completing the course.
